-What is a GSLT
Valve Game Server Login Tokens (GSLTs) are unique codes used to authenticate and register game servers for titles like CS:GO, Team Fortress 2, and Garry's Mod. They help ensure servers follow Valve’s rules and prevent abuse. GSLTs are linked to a Steam account and required for servers to appear in the public server browser. Without one, a server may be hidden or blacklisted.
-Account Requirements
- Your Steam account must not be currently community banned or locked.
- Your Steam account must not be limited.
- Your Steam account must have a qualifying registered phone.
- Your Steam account must own the game for which you are creating a game server account.
- Your Steam account may create 1000 game server accounts.
-Each Server should have its own token
Every server requires its own token and is bound to a certain game buy its Steam App ID. For Example CS2's App Id is 730
-How to get a GSLT
To get a GSLT you need to go to Steam Community Manage Game Servers
Login to your steam account and enter the app ID and a memo. You can use these memo's to name and keep track of what server they are associated with.
Once the required info is entered click on the "Create" button
-How to change it in game panel
Inside the game panel you can update your token or replace an expired one. To change the token, go to your servers configurations files and set sv_setsteamaccount <TOKEN>.
