Caliber Node — Host n8n in Singapore without managing a VPS

Your automation platform should spend its time running workflows, not waiting for you to maintain a server. Caliber Node offers managed app hosting in Singapore, including n8n, for customers who want an Asia-Pacific location without managing a separate VPS.

Singapore is worth considering when the people using your workflows or the systems they communicate with are in the region. The important word is considering: the best location depends on the full workflow, not just the closest point on a map.

Why put an automation app in Singapore?

Imagine a small team using an automation to receive a form submission, look up a record and notify a colleague. There are several connections involved: the person submitting the form, the n8n instance, the record system and the notification service. Hosting n8n in Singapore may shorten some of those paths for an Asia-Pacific team, but an external API hosted elsewhere still adds its own round trip.

That makes a representative workflow test more useful than an isolated ping result. Measure completion time and reliability with the services you actually use, including the time spent waiting on external APIs.

Managed app hosting, not a Singapore VPS

Choose n8n from the Caliber Node catalog and deploy it using your Cloud App capacity. The panel handles provisioning the app and its configured services. You can inspect logs and manage the deployment without installing Docker or maintaining a separate virtual server.

This is a managed application deployment, not a root-access server. Our Virtual Servers are a separate product currently available in Dallas. Your n8n account setup, workflow design and third-party credentials remain yours to configure.

Getting started

  1. Choose capacity for your workload. The smallest plan is not automatically the right fit for n8n. Consider workflow size, concurrent executions and the memory used when processing files.
  2. Select n8n and Singapore. Sign in to the panel, choose your capacity subscription, allocate resources and select Singapore in the deployment screen.
  3. Complete the application's first-run setup. Follow the instructions shown for your deployment before sharing its address.
  4. Add integration credentials. Use the permissions each workflow needs, and keep credentials out of shared workflow examples and logs.
  5. Run a small test first. Confirm that an input reaches the workflow and produces the expected result. If you use webhooks, test the externally reachable URL rather than assuming an editor-only test proves the production path works.

For application-specific workflow concepts and configuration, use the official n8n documentation. A hosting location does not remove a connected provider's API limits, authentication requirements or subscription charges.

Understand the transfer allowance

You do not need a separate Singapore capacity plan. A standard subscription can support eligible apps across Dallas, Amsterdam and Singapore. Singapore has its own monthly transfer allowance, shared by the Singapore apps on that subscription.

Both uploads and downloads count. Small JSON-based workflows and workflows moving large attachments have very different transfer patterns, so watch actual usage after deployment. Additional Singapore transfer is available at $3 per TB per month, with 1 TB equal to 1,024 GB. That add-on renews monthly even if your capacity subscription is annual.

See the current Singapore allowances and prices rather than choosing a plan from an old screenshot. Dedicated IPs are not currently available in Singapore; n8n's catalog entry does not require one.

Check the whole workflow before committing

Review execution time, failures, memory use and transfer consumption with a realistic workload. Keep recovery copies of important configuration and data, and test updates before relying on changed behaviour for a critical process. Singapore does not guarantee lower latency for every network, nor does it imply that external services or backups stay in the same country.
