Manage pool size, transfer and billing
Capacity and allocation
The pool shows Total, Allocated and Available capacity. Creating a volume reserves its full size from the pool. A block volume's “reserved on disk” figure is not the amount of customer file content inside it; inspect the app or filesystem usage for that distinction.
Increase the pool
- Find Increase pool capacity (GB) in the active pool.
- Enter the new total in 100 GB increments, within the displayed limit.
- Select Create upgrade invoice.
- Review the prorated charge for the remainder of the current term and pay the invoice.
- Return to the pool. Its capacity and transfer allowance increase after payment is applied.
Increasing the pool makes more capacity available for allocation. Existing volumes are not automatically resized. To expand an already attached volume, contact support before changing its files or moving its data. Do not detach or delete it as a shortcut to resizing.
Monthly transfer
The pool includes 2 GB transfer per 1 GB purchased: 100 GB includes 200 GB/month. Reads and writes by all attached volumes count together, including underlying filesystem activity. This is separate from the app's normal web-traffic allowance.
The meter resets at 00:00 UTC on the first of each month. Reports are periodic, so a large active job can use more data before the panel reflects it. Deleting a volume does not erase that month's recorded transfer.
At the allowance, affected apps are stopped gracefully and SFTP pauses. Storage stays attached. A paid pool upgrade or the monthly reset restores access; start the app manually when you are ready. An app that cannot stop cleanly needs operator attention rather than a forced storage disconnect.
Billing and cancellation
The pool shows its monthly price, paid-through date and invoice links. Use Cancel at term end to stop renewals and confirm the action. Keep subscription withdraws a scheduled cancellation while available.
Cancellation does not detach an app or delete a volume. Data removal is a separate action described in Detach and delete. Contact support for a billing correction, downgrade or refund review.
