Update or reconnect the BYOH agent
Open My hardware → your server → Settings → Server agent.
Update the agent
Review the reported version and update status. Use the manual update action when available, or enable Automatic agent updates if that suits your maintenance approach.
Automatic agent updates wait for app operations to finish and restart the management agent. App containers stay running during the normal agent update process. Check that the server reconnects and hardware information refreshes afterward.
Agent updates do not update app images or the host operating system. Those require their own maintenance process.
Reconnect an offline agent
Check host power, internet connectivity and whether the agent service is running. Follow the panel’s reconnect workflow if offered and run any generated command only on the intended server.
Treat reconnect and enrollment commands as credentials. If a command expires, generate another. Do not install a second independent agent identity to work around a failed reconnect.
If an update fails
Keep the operation output and version information. Check free disk space and outbound connectivity. Contact support before reinstalling the server or deleting apps. A management connection failure does not necessarily mean the app containers have stopped.
