VPS resources and upgrades
Use Overview for allocated resources and Metrics for activity over time. Guest disk usage requires the guest agent to be running; a missing reading does not mean the disk is empty.
Check inside the operating system when diagnosing memory pressure, full filesystems or a busy process. The panel’s resource allocation describes the service capacity, while guest tools explain how it is being used.
Upgrade a server
Review the upgrade choices and quote in the panel. Check both the immediate prorated charge and the new renewal price. Some promotional, complimentary or add-on combinations require support to make the change.
Back up first and stop the server when the upgrade workflow requires it. The upgrade keeps the server’s data and assigned addresses, but the guest may need a filesystem expansion to use added disk space.
Start the server afterward and check application health. Do not assume a larger virtual disk automatically expands every partition, filesystem or application storage setting.
Stopping a VPS does not cancel its billing. For cancellation, submit the service’s cancellation request and read the confirmation and effective date.
