IP addresses and reverse DNS

Open your server’s Networking tab to see its assigned addresses. Use these values rather than copying settings from another server.

Point a domain at your VPS

Create an A record for its IPv4 address. Add an AAAA record only after IPv6 is configured and reachable. Install and configure the web server and HTTPS certificate inside your VPS; DNS alone does not publish a website.

IPv6

Use only the IPv6 addresses or subnet assigned to your service. A single working address is not evidence that a whole /64 is routed to the server. If an assigned address does not work, check guest configuration and IPv6 firewall rules before opening a ticket.

Reverse DNS

Where available, set a PTR hostname in the panel. Make sure the hostname’s forward DNS points back to the corresponding IP. Reverse DNS is distinct from a normal A or AAAA record and does not guarantee email delivery.

Additional addresses

Use the additional IP request or order controls when shown. Availability and justification requirements apply. Do not configure unassigned addresses manually.

For connectivity problems, include the destination, protocol, port, time and test result in a support ticket.
