Troubleshooting
Start by noting the affected app or server, the time, the exact error and the last change. Avoid deleting a service as a first troubleshooting step: deletion can remove the evidence and data needed to recover it.
| Symptom | Check first |
|---|---|
| App fails after changing variables | Environment settings, then logs |
| Data missing after an update | Persistent storage and the app’s configured data path |
| Domain or HTTPS fails | Custom domain status, DNS and certificate validation |
| Private app cannot be opened | Network enrollment, device connection and DNS |
| File login fails | File access, hostname, port, credentials and connection mode |
| VPS SSH times out | Console, server status and firewall |
| Paid order is not ready | Invoice status and provisioning status; avoid duplicate orders |
| BYOH is offline | Host connectivity, agent status and agent maintenance |
Gather useful evidence
Copy the relevant log lines and error text, with a timestamp and timezone. Remove tokens, passwords, cookies and personal data. A screenshot of the error helps; include enough of the page to identify the control you used.
If a change caused the problem, record its previous value before making another change. Restore a backup only after understanding what newer data would be lost.
Open a support ticket when these checks do not resolve it.
