Transfer allowances
Use the subscription and app resource screens to see transfer usage, the current allowance and the period it covers. Regional groups can have different allowances; the figures shown for your subscription are the source of truth.
Apps sharing a subscription also share its applicable transfer allowance. An app’s usage reading and the subscription’s total answer different questions: one shows that app’s activity, while the other includes the other apps in the same allowance group.
Investigate high usage
Check large downloads, media streaming, sync jobs, repeated backups, bots and public file links. Compare the time period in the panel with the application’s own logs.
Do not assume an external storage integration makes traffic free. Traffic sent through an app can still pass through its host, depending on whether the application proxies a file or redirects a client to the storage provider.
BYOH traffic also depends on your server and network provider’s terms. A Caliber Node license does not remove an upstream bandwidth cap.
Contact support with the subscription, app and period if a reading appears wrong. Avoid repeatedly restarting the app; that will not explain the source of transfer usage.
