Use the app terminal
Open Terminal or Console on the app’s page when the feature is available. The shell is inside the app container; it is not root access to the underlying Caliber Node host.
Use it for diagnosis
Check the current directory, inspect relevant configuration and run commands recommended by the application’s own documentation. Confirm which service you are connected to before changing anything.
The container may use a minimal image without familiar utilities. A command missing from the image does not necessarily mean the deployment is broken.
Keep durable settings in the right place
Files written outside persistent storage can disappear when a container is replaced. Prefer the panel’s environment settings, supported file locations and application controls over editing the container’s installed software.
Do not print all environment variables or secrets into a screenshot. Commands that delete files or modify the database affect the real app immediately; create a recovery point before changing production data.
If the terminal cannot connect, check that the app is running and not in the middle of another operation. Use logs or contact support if the image does not provide a usable shell.
